Are you interested in getting married in Loveland? You’re not alone. Each year, many couples choose the city with “love” in its name to get married. Loveland is the “sweetheart of Ohio” and Loveland Local News has a legal, certified non-denominational wedding minister/wedding officiant who can perform your nuptials anywhere in Loveland!

Couples seeking to get married must have a valid wedding license from a county probate court. (Hint: Google your Ohio county’s probate court, then call them or visit to get the license. Requirements vary slightly by county.)

The happy duo wishing to get married can also visit the county probate court in the county where they’d like to get married and get a license that way. But watch out! Loveland is in three counties (Hamilton, Clermont and Warren) and if you don’t receive a license from the county where you reside, the wedding has to be performed in the county where you obtained your license. (Another big hint: Downtown Loveland is in Clermont County, but roughly 70 percent of Loveland is actually in Hamilton County and only about 10 percent in Warren County.) Best thing to do is check a map – or contact us about your preferred wedding location and we can help you decide the best route to take.

The wedding minister receives an honorarium for providing this service – which is negotiable and depends on what is requested. Our wedding minister can do anything from performing a basic ceremony to a full ceremony with a prepared sermon, wedding vows and more!
