Maintenance of the sidewalk in front of your home is the homeowner’s responsibility. The City of Loveland has a Sidewalk Maintenance program which reimburses up to 50% of the construction costs to help residents upgrade any sidewalks that are cracked or do not meet ADA standards. Additional information may be found in the documents on this page.
Right of Way Permits
The City requires a permit and inspection for any work performed in the right of way which may include but not limited to sidewalk repairs/replacement, utility work, drive apron repair/replacement and street or curb cuts. An application can be picked up at City or by downloading the documents below and returning both documents to City Hall for review.
Additional information is available in the Loveland Code of Ordinances 905.14 “Abutting Property Owners to Repair and Maintain Sidewalks” and in the documents on this page.
